He was moving back to India (for good). After one heck of a year in (primarily) Boston, with travels to Turkey, France, Brazil, and Mexico, it was time for him to return to his (usual) life. It was a strange feeling. He was not only leaving a place, but also a way of life he had begun to enjoy. Could he ever be this way again? Could he now ever be different?
Well, it seemed the place didn’t want him to leave so easily. He missed his flight from NYC, and got rescheduled for a flight leaving 14 hours later with an additional 12 hours layover at Heathrow. Anyone heard of life throwing lemons.
He dropped his bags at JFK and did a hop-on hop-off tour of the NYC. He then took his flight to London, applied for a transit visa, and got a landing card for 9 hours. Used it to do a hop-on hop-off tour of the city of London.
From Times Square to Trafalgar Square, from Central park to Hyde park, from Hudson river to Thames in 24 hours….AWEFUCKINSOME! Perfect end to a great year!
