Another day. Another conference. Another set of brilliant ideas. Another set of interesting people. He was feeling as much intrigued as overwhelmed. He was interested in stories and wanted to know all about these wonderful new people he was meeting. Yet, he felt inadequate. The feeling wasn’t born out of envy. Or may be it was.
Why does it sometimes feel that we don’t have enough time to do all the things we want to do; Not enough time to be all that we want to be; To love all we want to love; To go to all the places we want to go?
Why is it that others often seem to have it better? Almost like they have planned and perfected their life. That their model of life, somehow, is inherently better than yours. And so obviously so, that you should’ve known better while defining your own.
Well, may be because we are born into a societal culture that raises us to believe that the grass is always greener on the other side; and to succeed, you must always question yourself and improve.
